Mobile Broadband

Many students in UK who is now living outside the Student Accommodation might have a thought to get a broadband. Some private accommodation might not have landlines subscribed to the house. Of course another less hassle options will be getting a mobile broadband.

Here is my experience using one of the mobile broadband by Three. I am their existing customer. I get the so-called loyalty discount for 15GB data allowance for £15/month (18 months contract).

Though the capacity sounds too much for me to use. Unfortunately their service rating is beyond worst! It is really slow loading webpages, you will be in Star Wars during Skype-ing... Blogging and uploading pictures are the most excruciating moments of waiting too!

I really advised not to get this mobile broadband unless you are desperate for it. For casual usage like checking mails, and getting on MSN is not a problem for this "ridiculous" 3 Mobile broadband. Such a waste of money.

Good question, why I did not terminate my contract before 3 Days trial is over. This is because, I might need this little dongle to online anywhere and whenever I want. Though it is freaking slow -- at least I can update my Facebook and all.

Rating for this bloody 3 Dongle (overall):
**
Price (if you are existing customer):
£ 15 (usual 30 pounds)
Capability: *

So students... Think twice if you want to get this service or not. Remember you have 3 Days trial & if you are not happy with it, return the whole box along with your receipt and ask for refund if there is applicable.

I have not try other mobile broadband carrier... Little birdies said -- they are all the same speed (slow). If you happen to have something to share about mobile broadband, do tell me via comments.

That's all from Moi now...
